Hyacinth

I am once again using a stamp from the Magazine I picked up at Barnes and Nobles.  I colored it with markers and was going to do a clean card with just the stamp but then decided to cut one of the edges with a fancy die and add some patterned paper peeking out.

  • Crafts Beautiful Magazine - March 2021 stamp set, colored w/markers
  • Pink Fresh - Classic Edgers die
  • Stamped sentiment unknown
  • Gems

Foot update - Went to the doctor yesterday, he said I am good to start wearing my own shoes, told him I tried to do my New Balance shoes but I had a lot of pain in my incision area, and he said just because the outside is healed doesn't mean the inside is fully healed yet so I need to take this slow, I do have a pair of sandals that strap on so I am able to start off with them, if I experience any pain I am to go back to the boot, so praying no pain and the sandals will work until I can fit in my regular shoes.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today and say Hi,

Connie

Your card is just so pretty and elegant. Fabulous colouring on your image, Connie, and the purple just scream out to me. I'm enjoy seeing purple cards.

I had to go on pain killers for my foot, and I stopped them cold turkey just a month ago, close to a year since I was in a boot cast. I still can't walk far in "regular" running shoes. For that, I wear hiking shoes with orthotics in them.

I wish you a speedy recovery girlfriend!

Thank you again for your card, and for the Mulberry paper.
I remember using some of that paper years ago, but I couldn't remember what I used it for. Your suggestion of using it for iris Folding is a good suggestion must give it a try!

Lovely potted Hyacinth. Beautiful coloring! I love that die cut edge, it adds so much interest without taking away from your pretty image! Good luck with the sandals, hope all goes well.
