I was in need of another male birthday card with no inspiration so I started going through all my stuff and came across these images from a cardmaking magazine and went with that, adding a die cut vine to give it a little something extra.

We are once again getting a lot of rain, but thankfully no flooding so far, looks like Easter will be a wash out too.

Thank you for your inspirational artwork and for your kind comments. I'm sorry to hear about so much rain, but am VERY grateful it is not damaging your area. Way too many folks are facing hardships from extreme weather evensts. We are fortunate, too, whenever there is flooding in the area, because we live on one of the few "hills" in central FL. LOL.

You always pull it off for those guy cards, Connie! This is such a great image and it appears to be almost stepping out of the card. Love the masculine plaid and the little vine growing up the side. I always think of you when I see the midwest weather reports, especially the flooding. I'm glad whenever I hear you're safe. The clouds and wind came back for the weekend here. I don't think the little kids mind much, though.
I, but my daughter much more, love highland cows, love the plaid with him too.. hope your weather not too bad, it has rained here since Wednesday with some big downpours now and then, but today the sun has tried to pop out so that is good as we a BBQ tonight..

The Highland cow image paired with the masculine plaid is such a perfect combination. Adding the delicate die-cut vine brings a lovely touch of dimension and balance to the design. This is a fantastic card for a male recipient, full of charm and character.
