Washi inspired

I just love blue and white plates and bowls, I actually put them on my wedding list and my older sister bought us two place settings, and that is all we got.  I never have bought anymore, but I still love it to this day. Well when I saw Connie's post from Crafty Home cottage where she used this beautiful washi tape on her kitchen cupboards, I thought oh I need to get some of that and use it on my cards, she told me she found them on Amazon, so away I went and found all kinds there, using a little bit of it here on my card for borders.  I used one of my coloring calendar images that I thought would be a perfect design to go with it.

  • Coloring for calm calendar image 2018 - colored w/pencils
  • Tim Holtz - Field Notes Ephemera pack (butterfly)
  • Paper Studio - Antiquity paper
  • Starform - Sentiment sticker
  • Martha Stewart - Pearl

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

I would have never thought of using washi tape on a kitchen cottage. It looks fantastic on your card. Love the butterfly. So sweet that your sister got you two place settings. Makes them special for just the two of you.

I love this blue and white pattern, too, and have some designer paper similar that I've been hoarding, tsk tsk. Beautiful card with the music paper and butterfly to go with your circle motif.

The blue and white motif combined with the delicate butterfly creates such a charming and cohesive design. Your idea to incorporate washi tape into cards is truly inspiring, and the coloring calendar image fits beautifully with the overall aesthetic.
