100 Birthday

My good friends mom just turned 100 on Easter Sunday.  The family had a lot of plans on Easter Sunday and all couldn't get together so they had her birthday celebration this past weekend. I just had to make her a card, her name is Bonnie :)

I used all patterned papers on this card as well as gold cardstock.

  • 49 and Market - Krafty Garden 6 x8 paper pack for base of card
  • Momento - Pattern cardstock for the flowers
  • DCWV - Sew Crafty paper for the labels
  • Tim Holtz - Metallic cardstock #'s
  • Spellbinders - Delicate Asters and Decorative Labels Eight dies
  • Taylored Expressions - Whimsy #s dies
  • Pink & Main - Sentiment strip dies
  • Simon Says stamps - Tiny words birthday sentiment stamp
  • Gems

I would like to share my card with Love those pretty papers Spring flowers challenge

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

The mix of patterned papers gives your design such rich texture and warmth, and I love how the gold numbers create a bold focal point that celebrates the milestone while the layered asters and labels add an elegant flow that pulls everything together beautifully.

Wow. Connie has been good to you that you've still a mum and shes 100. My darling mum passed at 71, but I am VERY grateful she knew Jesus. That's the most important thing. Love card with beautiful dimension. Prayer hugs, 🙏🏻🤗❤️Shaz in Oz.x

Wow Connie! This is awesome! It definitely fits a "pretty papers" challenge. That is the perfect little sentiment and lets the 100 shine.

This is just wonderful, Connie! Of course, I love the yellow flowers, and they look absolutely perfect cut from the designer paper. What a pretty and cheerful card for a 100 year old birthday!

It's something very special to be able to make a card like this. And it has turned out to be a very special card, beautifully designed, with the special year prominently featured.
