Christmas embossing

I actually got my Christmas cards done early this month.  Our challenge with my stamp group was to use embossing folders. My first card also works for the Just us girls Spotlight challenge

  • Darice - Mosaic Candle embossing folder, colored with markers
  • Spellbinders - A2 matting basics A die
  • Hobby Lobby - Country tags

  • Fun Stampers Journey - Cozy knit embossing folder, inking around edges
  • Paper Studio - 3D Snowman sticker
  • Spellbinders - Big Scalloped oval small die
  • Diamond Press - Vintage Christmas sentiment stamp, fussy cut and inked
This last one was inspired by the last two cards I will show that I had done before the challenge was posted.

  • Darice - Hanging Ornament embossing folder, colored w/ Spectrum Metallic markers
  • Hobby Lobby - Country tags
This is a scratch art card kit. I bought it at Michaels on sale before Christmas. It comes black with white outline and you have a wooden stick with a point that you scratch off the white part and what is inside.  I think I like the diamond dotz better.

I love them all! Nice work with those wonderful embossing folders, and the snowman sticker is so cute! My jaw dropped at the scratch off cards. I have never heard of those and I LOVE the result! Wow! You're doing great with the Christmas cards, Connie. I felt good making two this month.

The embossed details on each card create such a rich mix of texture and shine, and I really enjoy how you brought out the candle design with marker coloring while keeping the overall layout clean and focused, then shifted into the cozy knit background with that sweet snowman for a completely different mood, and the metallic ornament panel feels especially striking with the bold color against the raised pattern, while the scratch art piece adds an unexpected and playful finish that ties the whole group together with a sense of exploration and fun.
