Prayers are with you

We have a husband and wife team now heading up our worship team at Church. Just after taking this on the husband ended up having eye trouble and had to have two surgeries to try and correct it, he ended up losing partial eye sight in that eye.

I went with a collage of sorts to let him know he is in our prayers. I fussy cut the sentiment and kept it natural with the burlap and wooden leaf.

  • Tim Holtz - Document collage papers
  • Burlap
  • Recollections - wooden leaf
  • Mama Elephant - Blessed stamp set, fussy cut and inked

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

Gosh, I'm sorry for his troubles. It's so very thoughtful of you to make this wonderfully creative collage card for him. I know he'll be touched. The leaf and burlap are a beautiful focus.

i found wooden embellishments (similar to the leaf) in the dollar store. i bought 2 sheets and they were 1.25 each. i think each sheet had 6 or 7 pieces on it. i am going to use them in my junk journal!!

Very sad reason to make this card but it's a perfect card for a male. I especially love the leaves on the burlap.

Your collage feels deeply supportive with the soft neutrals, the layered papers, and the way the burlap and wooden leaf add such grounding texture, and the fussy cut sentiment settles into the design with a gentle presence that fits the purpose so well, creating a piece that carries both care and strength.
