Our Ladies bible study group Leader wanted to start a reach out and care card giving, and asked for a volunteer to head it up, I thought right then this was what I was meant to do with my cardmaking so I volunteered. Every other month I make cards for those we know or have heard could use some cheering up, or just to let them know they have been on our prayer list. We get together and everyone takes a card or more and writes in them. Over the next week or so I will be posting some of the cards I have made for this group.
This image from Stampin up was another Flea market find. Colored with markers, I added the pen marks for chicken feed. Spellbinders to frame it. Background paper was from a book I found at Big Lots called Savor this moment. The strip is from Daisy D's. Pebbles glitter candy dots at the bottom.
Thanks for stopping by and your kind comments,
Connie

Hi Connie! Becca at AmazingPaperGrace.com is Sharing the Comment Wealth and I picked you. What a wonderful thing you did to volunteer. I love your card. The colors are wonderful and the image is super.
Hi Connie, “Becca at AmazingPaperGrace.com is Sharing the Comment Wealth and I picked you”! I also make cards for our Homebound Ministry! Your card will truly brighten someone's day! It's so fun! One thing I do for a quick yet pretty card is use the embossing folder that looks like a frame. I use scriptures. If you have a minute go to my blog and check out the top posting to see the folder.
Becca at AmazingPaperGrace.com is Sharing the Comment Wealth and I picked you. I love your chicken and the sentiment. It is so cute.
My friend's church group does this, too. They make prayer shawls and my friend makes cards to go with them. It's a lovely idea, and gives the recipient a warm feeling of love and caring. Your Best of Cluck card is perfect! I still have this set and love it!
