Lakeside

This is another stamp I picked up at the yard sale this past summer, this one is for my nephew who also lives in Michigan, he can dream about this summer's vacation for his birthday :)  I decided not to put a sentiment on the front, but added some photo corners to it and a bit of inking around the edges.  Instead of inking in my clouds with my template I tried to draw them in with my marker, not to sure what I think, maybe I need to go back to my stencil, LOL!

Northwoods Rubber stamps - Sailboat and Lighthouse on Lake stamp, colored w/markers
Spellbinders - A2 Distressed Edges die
Photo corners

Thanks for stopping by today,

Connie

Such a pretty scene and a unique stamp, I think. I would have definitely snatched it up too. I think your clouds look great. I actually thought it was part of the stamp till I saw what you wrote.

Wow Connie, this is fabulous! Your clouds turned out great from where I sit. The rough edge and the photo corners make this look just like an old snapshot. Great card!!

It's interesting to think of a lake so big it needs a lighthouse. Someday I'd like to see the Great Lakes, sigh... This is a lovely, dream-provoking card for your nephew's birthday!
