Our next challenge was to do two cards using the same sketch but opposite themes. I went for a Summer and winter time themes.
Echo Park - Find and Dandy paper
Spellbinders- Labels 8 die
Stampin up- Summer by the sea, colored w/markers
Stamps of life- minis4circles stamp sentiment
Twine
Spellbinders - Labels 8 die
Inkadinkado - Christmas season stamps (snowflakes)
Stampin up minis4circles sentiment
Ms. Sparkle & co. - watercolor paper
Lace
Martha Stewart - snowflake punch
Spectrum sparkle pen on snowflake
Ribbon
The next challenge was to use something we have recycled. Like I told the girls in the group, I have quite the collection of tissue boxes I have saved just because they are so pretty, this is my favorite. I cute it out with a stitched die and added a flower that I sponged lightly with ink and cut the sentiment die 3 times each so that it would have some depth and added pearls.
Tissue box
Memory Box - Stitched rectangle layer die
McGill flower punch, lightly inked
Die cut sentiment 3 times each and layered
Pearls
I will share more of the challenges tomorrow,
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and hope you enjoy a great weekend,
Connie

Two great takes on the sketch, but I LOVE your tissue box card! No wonder you saved it - such a gorgeous background! Your sponged flower fits in perfectly!!!
Wow, such wonderful cards. I love the idea of using Kleenex boxes. Thanks for the much-needed inspiration.
Oh wow ... what fun! That stamp on your first card is an oldie but goodie (have it in my stash too). Beautiful cards ... all of them!!
Just beautiful!! Happy New Year!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Beautiful cards they are all so pretty and unique.x
Connie, love what you did with the tissue box! And I thought I recognized the Stampin' Up! stamp. All your cards are perfect and so different!
They are adorable!Love them so much!Happy Sunday!
Love your summer/winter sketch cards, that girl is such a sweet image. That tissue box IS pretty! Clever idea!
Gosh, Connie, your opposites are so different that it took me a minute to realize they were the same sketch. Brilliantly done! Such soft, pretty coloring on the summer girl. Things like the tissue boxes are just too pretty to throw away. I'm amassing quite a collection, as if I don't have enough papers already. It's gorgeous and I love the simplicity.
A great idea to use a sketch in different ways. Great choice to do seasons, both lovely cards.
