Super Star

I was in need of another teen boy card, for my great nephew, I like this stamp for teen cards. I have used it a few times so far so I think I have got my $1.50 out of it, I used another set for the banner that I stamped twice and hand cut,  remember those small stamp sets Michaels had a few years back. I wrote his name on the banner.

Studio G - stamped sentiment, colored w/markers
Spellbinders - classic rectangles lg and A2 matting basics A die
Poppystamps - Super stars dies
Crate paper - Party Day paper

Hubby and I went away for a few days down to Echo Bluff State park in Missouri, you can read about it HERE.  The weather was supposed to be in the 70's and we thought it was the perfect time to get away and do some hiking and just enjoying the new park we hadn't been to yet, we had a wonderful time.  We are back to the cold weather but am always thankful for some warm time in the middle of  winter.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

How lovely you and your husband escaped for a few days to enjoy the scenery and warmer climes. Great card. I say when you find a good thing, why not use it again and again.

Sometimes the best stamps are indeed the "dollar" stamps. This is one terrific stamp and one you could use over and over. Great design with the name on the banner. Currently, I'm in the middle of doing a waterfall card for my grandaughter's 2nd birthday. It's taking forever because it is so tricky that I get side-tracked checking for blog updates such as yours.

Glad you've gotten your $1.50 out of this awesome stamp ... I bet it will get even more use over the years! Love how you've personalized the card too ... always makes one feel special to see their name on a card!
How fun to get away for a few days ... good for you! I'm tired of wearing shoes & coats ... I'm ready for flip flop weather! LOL Hugs

Definitely got bang for your buck with this stamp, Miss Connie! Don't you just love this monochromatic green theme? I do. and the sentiment looks amazing with the open star die cut! How crazy is the weather, jumping around like that? Hope you had a good time at the park. Wishing you a great week! hugs, de

Oh, Connie, this is so cute! It's hard to make a teen boy's card that's as perfect as this, but you always pull it off. This stamp is a real winner and you've definitely gotten a lot of bang for your buck fifty. We had a couple days of snow, so definitely not warm here. Glad you got away for a bit!
