One of our praise team members at church, lost his father this past week and I like to do male themed sympathy cards for the guys who have lost someone and I had recently scene a card on Pinterest they had used I believe it was a tree stamp from Stamp in up, I decided to use a die cut. Now I know it looks black in the picture but this set of cardstock from Gina K is very dark brown, it always shows up black on my computer.
I used my Spectrum Aqua markers for the water color background. I took my larger Acrylic block for stamping and colored brown, green and blue directly onto the block, spritzed it with some water and then applied it to my water color paper, I do like how that turned out.

I finally planted my spinach and romaine lettuce seeds yesterday, crossing fingers that all turns out good. I need to go buy my pepper plants soon, I like to buy them instead of starting from seed. We also have carrots and green beans to plant, but we have rain in the forecast today and if I don't get to it tomorrow we have 5 days in a row of rain.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today, Have a wonderful and creative weekend!
Connie

What a lovely thing to do, sending your masculine sympathy card to your member at church. This card is perfect for a male. Lovely results on your background technique. It's been on my mind all week and have been wanting to try it. You are an inspiration. Hugs.
A very pretty way to use the tree die. Great background. My brown and navy cardstock always looks black too.
What a beautiful sympathy card. Gorgeous background, which is perfect for the tree. Good luck with your garden - you've already done a lot!
Pretty sympathy card,so kind and friendly.Hugs, dear Connie.Best wishes for you.
That's a really beautiful watercolor background, Connie, and a truly perfect masculine sympathy. We have to remember the men, too, when it comes to sympathy cards. Good luck with your garden. Much of the country is having such awful weather. I feel very fortunate here.
Ah with gardening you did need it watch the weather forecast, Connie..
I’ll have to water my sweetpeas again tomorrow morning as we’ve had warm days and no rain for three days or four.. they’re just peeking through, better write myself a note..or send myself a text scheduled for tomorrow morning. I do that a lot.😆 ... great watercolour smooch with block, well done. And the tree is great too, Sympathy and male cards can be tricky.
Thanks for your encouragement and visits too.

A beautiful and touching card for your friend at church. The watercolored technique you used on the background is soft and perfect for this card.
Oh Connie -- this is a beautiful sympathy card! I love the water colored background and that tree die cut. Absolutely perfect in every way!
Connie, I love any really dark brown ink. It's so rich and warm. Very pretty tree!
