Time for Tea

I believe this was the latest Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine I had in the mail, I am deciding seriously if I am going to renew my subscription, after finally getting through all my old magazines and recycling those I didn't want I still have quite a few and really don't have any room for more.

The embossing folder and the tea pot and sentiments are all from the magazine, I colored with my markers and hand cut the teapot and the embossing folder. The paper was from a past magazine.

Cardmaking & papercraft magazine - Time for Tea stamp, and embossing folder set
Tulip - Fashion bead paint - pink

We have bought some seeds for our garden and I am getting excited about planting, I am starting out with Romaine Lettuce and Spinach, have decided to wait for the pepper plants to come and buy them already started.  Are you planting anything this year?

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today.

This is just so adorable. The DP matches your teapot quite nicely. I am wondering, too, if I should continue to purchase those magazines as after I go through them once, I don't ever again and it seems like a lot of money to spend just to collect dust. I did take a huge stack to the local library.

Gosh, this is very feminine and pretty and I really love the embossing folder. Those magazines always have great freebies. I see a lot of cool things, but I would have a hard time finding a place for them, too.

Everything about this card, Connie, is so pretty; the sweet floral background paper, the pretty blue doily and of course the lovely teapot.

this is so cute connie!! here again, you could include a nice, specialty tea bag with the card!!

my favorite part of this card is the doily under the tea pot. it is so reminiscent of the days when people sat together and shared a pot of tea!!!

That teapot is sweet and looks like something my Grandmother would have! I love the tag too! I no longer get any magazines, but I sure do miss Card Maker! :(

Connie, oh I love that embossing folder look and of course all things tea or coffee! I was thinking of subscribing to a paper crafting magazine. Do you like one best?

It is hard to know what to do with beautiful old magazines! I love your tea-time card, it is just darling! The season of gardening is such a fun one, and I can't wait until we can start planting lettuce and spinach, probably sometime in May. Enjoy the rest of your week :)

Such a pretty card. Love that elegant tea pot with the elegant doily. The tiny pearls are so sweet! We haven't started our garden yet... need to put the fence back... I'd like cucumbers, squash and zucchini, reddish, beans, peppers, tomatoes... will try lettuce this year... and strawberries...
