Loss of Cat

I am giving this a try even though I still have very hazy eyesight. I think my vision right now is worse than before my surgery, but I did have my follow up appointment today and they said there were a couple places of swelling in my eye so that must be why it is so blurry. I had a bad day after surgery and last night but today seems to be much better so I am very thankful for that, can't wait for the swelling to go down so I can get back to creating.

I do have a card to share I made for a friend who lost her cat and she looked a lot like my Anna I lost a few years ago, so I tried to color this like her cat.

I added a bit of sparkle to the bees wings

Thanks for the prayers said on my behalf for my surgery, I am behind on blogs but I am hoping I will be able to see small print tomorrow and I can start catching up on visiting everyone.
Hope you are having a good week,
thanks for stopping by,
Connie

Beautifully colored kitty, Connie, and I'm sure your friend will appreciate it for a number of reasons, one of them being that you created it while recovering from surgery. I hope your vision is soon better than ever, and that your discomfort does not last very long. hugs, de

What a precious card for a pet loss.

Sorry to hear you had minor complications after surgery. I had no problems at all with my two cataract removals. Sending you hugs.

I would think you need to give your eyes just a bit of time, sounds like things are progressing for your other post...YAY! Cute and sweet card all at once. Love your coloring of the cat, so much texture and personality!

Connie, you colored this beautifully and it's a very nice gesture to send a pet sympathy card. It matters so much to the recipient. This card imparts a sense of peace and happiness. I hope you haven't had a lot of pain with your eyes. Your vision will return to normal soon, I'm sure. Hey, if you can read this it's already getting better!
