Another of my great nephews has turned the big 13! It is just amazing to see my nieces and nephews kids getting so old. And this is my nieces youngest.
I went with a background I had done quite awhile ago that I cut with my distressed die, and then continued that with my stamped sentiment panel and bottom layer.
Instead of coloring the different letters on this I decided to stamp with different colors of ink. It has been awhile since I used my rubons so I thought this would be a good time to break them out for the number inside the star.
Stampabilities - Birthday Subway art stamp
Spellbinders - Lg. Deckled Rectangles and A2 Distressed Edges dies
Die versions - Stitched Nested stars
Making Memories - Heidi Alphabet Rubons
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and say Hi,
Connie

I love the way your stamped your big sentiment on this awesome "boy card!"
This is very cool. The colors are bright and fun just like teenagers like, nowadays, and the background looks cool with your distressed edge die. Really great card!
Fantastic work. I have this stamp too. I like the way you made it so masculine. Job well done.
What an awesome card and the design is perfect for a 13 year old ... filled with lots of unknowns! Beautiful!
What a fabulous sentiment stamp! Great colours you chose too. Super card for a 13 year old lad.
Love this for a young teen, you are so clever coming up with something pretty simple but fabulous.x
This is wonderful, Connie. I sometimes find it difficult craft for not-very-young boys, your card is just right.

Hey, that's a cool background! Your card is perfect for a boy who's just now becoming a teenager. Your stamp reminds me that I need to pull out my kaleidocolor pads and use them. I always forget. This is awesome, Connie!
