clean and simple

The challenge in our stamp group this week is clean and simple, not sure if my first one will qualify or not just because there wasn't a lot of white area, the flower takes up most of it, but I didn't add any extras to the card so to me that makes it simple :)

Both of these cards are going to people who have lost Aunt and Uncle at this time.  Not because of the virus, but still not to be able to have a normal funeral at this time is so sad to me.

Impression Obsession - Camellia Japonica, colored w/pencils
Hero Arts - Everyday sayings stamp

The second I went with a new embossing folder, I don't know if it was how thin my cardstock was that I used or the embossing folder wasn't that great but it didn't seem to make a very good impression and I even went over it again with a couple extra pieces of paper in my machine to make it a little tighter.

This one colored up real quick with markers. Probably the fastest card I have made in awhile.

Pink Petticoat - Pretty Potties stamp set, colored w/markers
Recollections - Frame embossing folder

I hope you are all staying well and can find some time to be creative!

Thanks so much for stopping by today,
Hugs,
Connie

Both cards are fabulous Connie! And, honestly, I think they both qualify!! Yes it's a very difficult time in so many ways. I have lost two cousins in the past couple of weeks and it just feel SO WRONG not to be there to comfort their spouses when I normally would have been! Take care and keep sharing your lovely designs ... brightens my day!

Sorry why you need to send them, but they are both gorgeous! I think they are both very CAS and beautiful too! I struggle with this type of card, but I am going to keep yours in mind! Be well!

It's CAS in my book, and it's absolutely beautiful! I love your second card, as well. Too bad about the embossing folder because it's really so pretty. I have one like that, too. Very frustrating. Love seeing your Pretty Potties come out to play. That's one of my favorite stamp sets. You know when Cheryl saw my comments on your blog she searched far and wide until she found the set for me. That was the nicest thing! It's so sad to lose loved ones for any reason, and especially not to be able to have services. Later a memorial could be arranged if desired.

your white space on both beauties is excellent, Connie! CAS is the most difficult of cards to do in my humble opinion, yet you have created two lovelies! They definitely bespeak SPRING IS HERE! hugs, de
