The challenge in my stamp group this week is to stamp an image and then cut out the center and color that only and then mat it onto a piece of cardstock and then place it back in the center. I went looking through my stamps for a big enough image, and I found this one that I thought would work for a couple in our church who are both going through health problems, not too feminine or masculine.
I stamped on watercolor paper using some new coffee archival ink. All I had was black ink for watercolor images and I wanted a brown too. I used my Spectrum Aqua ink pens by rubbing the ink onto my surface and picking it up with a wet paintbrush.

A few mentioned our flooding problem, I went out yesterday and picked up enough debris that landed in our yard to fill two half filled lawn and leaf size bags, I only filled them half full because they were pretty heavy and didn't want to try and lift a whole bag into the garbage can. It was mostly corn stalks and cobs from the field at the top of the hill. That is one thing if we ever by a house again, we will not be living at the bottom of a hill. Just one of those things you don't think of when buying a house.
Hope you all enjoy a good 4th weekend,
Thanks so much for stopping by,
