I always try to watch Home shopping Network (HSN) when they have craft day because it is usually mostly card making goodies, while ago they had these border dies and for Christmas I usually need something that is quick and easy to do for most of my cards, so I bought these for those times I need to be quick, and it is getting down to these need to get in the mail so here we go :)
On this first card I used one of the backgrounds we did in our zoom meeting using the Gelli plate and paints.
Gelli plate background using acrylic paints
Gemini - Ornate baubles die
Spellbinders - Holiday sentiment die
Tim Holtz - Metallic collection cardstock
Gemini - Holly berries die
Paper studio - Have a cozy Christmas paper
Gemini - Torn edge circles die
Starform stickers (berries)
This paper pack has a page of nothing but sentiments on these circles so I cut them apart to use as sentiments on some of these. This one is the same as above I just used some gems my sister had given me.
As you can see I did these both horizontally and vertically on A2 size cards. These dies are 6 inches long so you can use them on bigger cards, I just cut mine down to use on the size cards I use most often.
Gemini - Mistletoe & Pine die
Paper studio - Have a cozy Christmas paper
Gemini - Torn edge circles die
Stampendous stickers
Well I am off to get more cards addressed and ready for the mail :)
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by again today,
Connie

Lovely and elegant. Im envious of your Gelly Plate bg. The combination of colours is perfect.
Those are really fun dies! I’ like how you cut them out of mirror cardstock and then put them over different backgrounds. You are right that for Christmas you do need some that come together quicker. Very nice job overall!
Oh, goodness, those borders are amazing! Incredible background on your first card. Such a gorgeous color. Love how versatile these dies are, as you've shown with all your beautiful cards!
REally like that die you used! I also like the Gelli plate background. I have one of those and have yet to use on a card. (Maybe after Christmas)
OH WOW these are all just gorgeous! What a beautiful holiday card idea! Well done my friend!

Wonderful cards Connie! I like the way you put them together. The dies are awesome. I think my fave, after the gelli plate one is the plaid.
What a fun way to make cards -- watching the HSN! It surely does inspire you, and I love your cards! Each one is so pretty, and I love your Gelli plate background (something I've wanted to do more of but haven't since Nancy Stislow visited a few years ago. She is amazing! Anyway, I love the beautiful dies and especially love the holly with berries and the beautiful mirror cardstock. Stunning, sweet friend! Hugs and love and prayers! xoxo
