I am sharing another stamped image that Birgit sent me, I wasn't quite sure what kind of flower this was supposed to be, hubby said it looks like hibiscus to me, so I googled and found some pretty yellow ones with red centers so I went with that color theme, well as you can see I didn't do well with my blending of the colors at all, but after I let it sit for a day and came back I thought it looked Ok :)
- Hibiscus colored w/markers
- Sassafras - Mix and mend paper
- EK Success- corner punch
- Gina Marie stamps - Birthday words stamp
- Nuvo - gloss on berries
- Spectrum sparkle pen - clear on flower centers
I have such a deep brown cardstock that most of the time it looks black in the pictures, but it is a nice dark brown.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today, hope your week is off to a good start!
We have chance of snow today, it hasn't snowed in April for 70 years they said, hoping all the flowering trees and bushes aren't effected too bad.

How pretty, Connie! Your fussy cutting looks really great against the deep, rich brown. Birgit was pure kindness in sending such a lovely image to you. Beautifully done! Connie, You will be receiving a notification that I have unsubscribed from email notifications, but I am still following using different options, just wanted you to know. hugs, de
The brown cardstock is the perfect background for your hibiscus. I cannot believe snow is still showing up there! Won't it be summer there soon??
Hello, Connie! I am glad to read that you are doing well. I have missed seeing your handiwork! Such a lovely hibiscus. I saw on the news about the snow. I don't think we will get snow just cold rain. xo
gorgeous!! such special colors and papers!!
everything here is in bloom, i have heard it is suppose to get real cold but i don't think we re expecting snow!!
stunning card Connie, love flower cards. xx
What a lovely card and your flowers are colored beautifully!
This is just beautiful Connie and your coloring looks fabulous! I know what you mean about those dark brown & dark green card stock colors ... they always look black in photos! Ugh!
We got about 4" of snow over night last night (I posted photos on my FB page) so my beautiful blooming apple tree is even puffier looking today being well coated with a layer of heavy white snow. Mother Nature must be upset LOL
Beautiful card, Connie xoxo
The yellow flowers look so pretty with the red centers. Colorful and joyful! Isn't this crazy weather?? We got snow last week too and today it's dipped back down into the 30's. I'm glad we have flowers in our craft room to keep spring alive. ;0)
Love it
That is a beautiful looking card :)
All the best Jan
I agree with your Hubby, it's that little dip on the edge of the petal that I recognize! Lovely color, they really POP against your brown background!
Lovely color combination and flowers.
Hugs Diane
Pretty card, the brown card is just a perfect background for the gorgeous flowers.
