Create Moments

My hubby's birthday is just two days after my daughters birthday, the year she was born we didn't really celebrate his birthday since my daughter had to stay in the hospital for a week after her birth.

I went with a new die set I had bought last year at a stamp store over in Missouri. I thought it would be nice for male cards.

  • Ciabella - Engine of the Future 12x12 paper and creative pad w/ephemera elemtns
  • AALL & Create - Splodazzlers double frame & splats dies
  • Tim Holtz - Vintage Labels die, wrote in the year

Hubby is still digging out the snow a little each day, it is so cold out there and the snow just keeps getting heavier as the sun melts it a bit each day and then freezes over. My back is still giving me troubles so I don't dare go out and help.  Hope the rest of you dealing with all the snow are doing ok.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

Ooooh what a great set of products! Love the vintage and collage vibes from this handsome creation! Loving the wonky die cut frames too! Oh yes, SNOW--that nasty 4 letter word lol We live super close to the ocean so we typically are insulated from that white stuff--not so lucky this time around. We were away when it arrived, came home in the dark and had to trudge through the nasty snow plowed edges--all frozen and of course we did not hire anyone to shovel/plow us out lol But Hubby got it all done, good thing as more arrives Sunday! Be cozy,, be well!

A fabulous card.A very nice die set. We are dealing with snow for the past week, too. I am ready for it to be gone. Hoping for forecast for more snow over the weekend is wrong. I know, that is wishful thinking.

The rich, industrial palette and layered textures give this such a strong masculine feel, and the mix of splatters, frames, and vintage elements pulls everything together so naturally. The way you incorporated the year on the label is a great personal touch. Hoping your back eases soon.
