With all the snow coming, I though it would be a good time to post those cards I have made this month for our Christmas challenge which is using new things. I have already shared at the beginning of the month my new snowman die, but I thought I would use him a couple more times, and also using my deer dies I never got around to using last year. I also opened another door to the stitched advent calendar for 2024, I am opening them as I do them, will probably do one a month until I have them all done.
On this first one I also wanted to use the new ornament dies I had bought last year at Michaels, I didn't notice until I was getting ready to post and seeing the card on my big monitor that wow I have a lot of patterns going on here. I cut the top portion of the ornament out of metallic cardstock and glued on top to give it more definition.

I admire your approach with the advent calendar stitching slow and steady is such a satisfying way to build a project like that, and it looks like each piece will be a little treasure.
I absolutely love ❤️ these, Connie. The colours, design and creativity.
Very pretty and so nice to get a head start on next year's cards. The deer are very sweet. x Stay safe and warm, my friend.

You're going to be so ready with the Christmas cards this year, Connie! I haven't even started yet. Such a lovely line up here. My absolute favorites are those graceful deer! I hope you're staying cozy and safe!
Wow!!! I don't even know where to begin. It's a fantastic collection, and every card delights me in its own way. The little snowman is truly adorable, and on the second card, you've placed him perfectly in the winter landscape. The cards with the deer are also beautiful, and the embroidered card looks very elegant!
They are all beautiful, Connie xoxo
They are all so beautiful.
Fantastic! I love them all but I am especially loving the snowman ones! I have a thing for snowmen. It's too bad our snow here is not snowman snow. I miss making a snowman or two! You did a great job on your cards!
Oh wow, you have a whole line-up of beautiful cards to inspire us in this post! Love that darling little snowman and the stitched star. The deer cards are delightful too!
such beauties!!!!
stay warm!
Such a lovely trio of winter makes. The mix of patterns on the first card feels lively and festive, and the metallic ornament top adds just the right touch of shine. The vintage palette on the second design gives the snowman such charm, and the deer details tie everything together beautifully. The stitched star is a standout as well, even with the camera challenges; the texture and sparkle still come through. A wonderful start to next year’s Christmas stash, and each piece has its own personality.
They look great Connie ...
All the best Jan
Just wonderful!
