Sketch Challenge

Our cardmaking Facebook group had a sketch challenge for this month and when I was stuck on what to make for my nephew's wife's birthday I thought that would get me jump started.

  • Memory Box - Pattern paper
  • American Crafts - Ephemera pack
  • Stamps of Life - Standup4sentiments stamp
  • Spellbinders- Advent calendar sequins

That is it for today, we have a day above freezing before we hit the below freezing again, and this weekend we are supposed to get snow.

Take care, and thanks so much for taking the time to stop by,

Connie

Absolutely lovely. I like both of these cards. Try to stay warm. We got about an inch of snow here in MN and the cold is headed for us first and then to you. And it's going to be COLD! Stay warm and stamp!

Absolutely stunning. The pretty purple plaid is so pretty!! I really like this technique. Perhaps you could teach it on one of our Teams night.

Now, that's a pretty and unique sketch which you used to perfection with your flowers and vertical sentiment. I love this type of design with double sided paper. The purple plaid is fabulous!

The sketch really shines in your hands. The turned‑back panels add such a polished touch, and the mix of purple plaid with the floral ephemera feels both warm and lively. This is a wonderful way to jump‑start a birthday design, and the vertical sentiment finishes it beautifully.

Oh this is so gorgeous! I love the way you folded back the paper to reveal the underside. So very beautiful!
