My first card is mini slimline card, just had to send a note to let a friend know she was in my thoughts. I went with this lovely paper that has sparkle on it so I had to use some sparkle flowers with it.
- DCWV - The Primrose paper
- Crafter's Square - Thinking of you stamps
- EK Success - Flower punch
- Pearls
This second one was for a guy at church that just lost his younger sister. I took the pictures with my phone instead of my camera and I don't like the way they turned out so I won't be doing that again but I hope you can see all right.
- Tim Holtz - Flower Jar stamp and die set, colored w/markers
- Crafter's Square - Thinking of you stamp set
- Tumbled glass distress ink, smooshed onto watercolor paper for background
- String
I would like to share my card today with Simply Clean & Simple Challenge Greenery
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
Connie

Two very nice cards Connie.
Wishing you a good week ahead.
All the best Jan
Both cards are wonderful. You can never go wrong with sparkle on flowers. And the watercolor background on the masculine card is beautiful. It's the perfect color for your card.
Connie, these are both so beautiful. I absolutely love your creative talent ❤️
these are so soft and pretty. beautiful cards that don't need a reason to be sent. snail mail is awesome!!
Two beautifully sweet cards! I love their simplicity, though CAS is hard for me because I keep wanting to add "just one more thing." lol
Great cards. Love the flowers on the note card. The smooshing looks good on the sympathy card. I never think to do smooshing.
Both your cards are so pretty. What a neat way to make a mini slimline card! I love the plattered background on the second card.
They are beautiful, Connie xoxo
Beautiful, thoughtful creations! Love the pretty flowers and gorgeous Designer Paper on your 1st one. The simplicity of your 2nd is perfection! Lovely, both, all over!
These are lovely! Everyone needs a "thinking of you" note card, eh? Your sympathy card is perfect. They tend to be "less is more" and this fits the bill. Your blue ink smooshing is a wonderful touch.
The secret to taking photos with a phone (I used to use my 35mm camera but couldn't get good photos--LOL) is to have a bright surrounding. I have a window in my stamp room and I take a photo when it is bright outside so it doesn't require the room lights which darken the photo. If it's not bright enough, you missed out on that perfect shot. If it's too bright the photo doesn't turn out. There's a happy medium. I sure would love a photobox with a light.
Your friend dearly appreciated the sweet card you sent with the sparkly flowers! It's a lovely and cheerful way to say "thinking of you". I love your second card, too. The die is amazingly delicate and beautiful, and your watercolor background is perfect. It's rare that I get a good pic with my old phone, but I don't think yours are bad at all.
lovely cards, Connie! i love the simplicity of both cards
The soft sparkle on your first card pairs so nicely with that Primrose paper, and the punched flowers feel perfectly placed rather than added. The second card has such a gentle presence; the ink‑smooshed background gives the jar a quiet depth that suits the sentiment beautifully. Both designs show how thoughtful simplicity can speak volumes.
Oh Connie, these are both just beautiful!!!
