Paper Folding

I had made one of these cards quite awhile ago and when our next challenge was to do paper folding, I decided to do another one.  I just cut circles from my circle die cut and then went around scoring just the edges. This is going to a friend that likes quilting.

When I cut one of the circles I realized it didn't have much pattern of flowers in the center so I added a little flower sticker to it and added a gem in the center, the sentiment was in the same pack of stickers but was silver so I colored both the sentiment and the flower with my alcohol marker to match the bottom panel paper.

K&co. - Classic K paper
Spellbinder - Circle and Grommet tags dies
Recollections - Lace on a roll
Stamp on it - Sentiment and flower sticker
Clear gem for flower center

It is now 10:00 am and it has been raining since yesterday around 5 pm. We are so thankful that on the most part it has been a steady rain, so the ditch out back and the street is flooding but it is just over our curb and so far staying there but there is a chance we could have rain through Midnight tonight with the most of the heavy stuff ending around 5 pm tonight.

I hope you are having a good weekend, thanks for taking the time to stop by,

Connie

I like this idea for double sided paper! Cute to add the little flower sticker to one square to make up for the absence of pattern. Makes it the one special square. Coloring the stickers is another great idea. Lots of rain over your way. I hope it doesn't get out of hand.

Your quilting friend will love this pretty card, Connie. Imaginative thought adding the little flower sticker. So happy you have some rain.....but I hope it doesn't cause any flooding problems.

This is neat! I think I made some to put on a card, but I never put it together. I need to remember this and try making a card. I know your friend will like this!

Well now ... aren't you the clever one! This is fabulous and your quilting friend is going to love it! Great thinking on those sticker centers. Been raining here in Akron for the last two days also. Luckily right where I am I don't have to worry about flooding but there is flooding not all that far away (I live close to Portage Lakes). We certainly needed the rain but it seems all or nothing this year! Stay safe and dry my friend!! HUGS from Akron, OH
