Recycle

I am going for a short post today since I just checked my blog and instead of my words I wrote yesterday it is just blocks of white.

My sisters mother in law knows I made cards so she cut up cards she was given and gave me chunks of them to use on cards, some of it is really nothing I can use but I was looking at them again and thought if I cut these out right up to the images which are layered already, all I would have to do is draw in some stems.

I liked the sparkles on this paper for the background and added a couple of punched leaves to the drawn stems and I was done.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Connie

How sweet of your sister's MIL to give you cards. Unique idea to cut pieces up. Your card screams spring. Bring it on now that Christmas Day is over--LOL.

beautiful card...great idea!!

i read once that a woman saved all the christmas cards she had received one christmas. the following year, she cut them down a little, mounted them on card stock, embellished them a little and mailed them back to the person who had sent it to her with her own special message!!! it was a cute message referring to recycling and also saying how much she had enjoyed the card. i always say i am going to do it and i never have!!

i have gotten so far behind...between not feeling well and spending time with my son, my schedule/routine took a noise dive!!
