Special Delivery

These 3 cards were all made from the same paper pack, with just a few nuvo drops added here and there.

I have a question for card makers and scrapbookers, do you have a glue stick that doesn't warp your card stock.  I decided to go with glue sticks to apply the papers to the card base and they seemed to really warp my cards.  I had finished the stick I was using so I am now trying a new brand hoping it will work better, but thought I would ask if you have a favorite.

Thanks so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to stop by today.

I love the designer paper you used. Very nice indeed. I use an ATG gun which is very economical as I buy 12 rolls at a time and it lasts about a year. Here is the link. They are having a sale right now

Connie, these are fabulous! I love the papers you used. Are they by Authentique? I have good luck using the Zig 2 way Glue Jumbo Tip. It lasts a really long time and doesn't cause warping. I hope you find something that works for you. Merry Christmas dear!

I use tape, Connie, various sorts and rub regular glue stuck over it in spots around edge to adhere.
Basically why it’s warped is excess moisture. So less glue stick.
I just think tape or glue not enough.
I’ve been given cards that del to but because of inadequate gluing so ve always used both.
Great to make quick cards, well done.
Hugs Shaz. Xx ps every blessing if the Lord this Christmas as we celebrate the birth of the bae Jesus.

Read “fall to bits” for “del to but”!!!!
Auto correct always thinks it knows best.

More gorgeous cards! You were on a roll. I'm having a quiet Christmas morning so thought I'd stop in. Been out with the dogs visiting with neighbors. First sunny day in a while and it's so beautiful and crisp out. As for the glue, I use a Zig glue pen and it never warps. I go through a lot of them so keep stocked up. For heavier layers I use Scor-Tape, but usually just the pen. I hope you're having a merry Christmas day!
