Christmas challenge

The Christmas challenge with my stamp group was to make cards starting with the letter A.  I went with angels except for my last card, and I just found this scrap piece of paper that I thought might work with the tree stamp so I just made it, I wanted to get at least 5 cards done in a month but I only managed these 4 so far.

I don't know that I have done black on a Christmas card before but this black on black print of paper was pretty and thought would make a nice subtle background for silver embossing, I could only get the embossing to show up with the card on this angle.  I added some silver border stickers and the sentiment.

Inkadinkado - Holiday Silhouettes and Christmas Season stamps embossed w/silver embossing powder
Hot off the press - Jewel border Dazzle stickers

The next two have the same stamp, one done with gold the other with red embossing powders.

Inkadinkado - Holiday Silhouettes stamp embossed w/gold embossing powder
Graphic 45 - Christmas past papers
Martha Stewart - border punch
Simon Says - tiny words Christmas sentiment stamp

Inkadinkado - Holiday Silhouettes stamp embossed w/red embossing powder
Spellbinders - Decorative Labels 8 die
Cardmaking and papercraft sentiment tag
Sequins

Inkadinkado - Holiday Silhouettes and Christmas season stamps embossed in Silver embossing powder
Circle punch with glitter paper for the dots

I truly hope I can keep this up so I am not so rushed before Christmas.

Another cold morning waking up today but another morning with sunshine, so I am happy!
Have a great weekend,

Connie

they are all beautiful connie!!! black seems like an odd color for a christmas card until you look at what you have created, it's gorgeous!!! you are on a roll for next year, you should plan to do 4 each month, you'll be all stocked up!!

That's a gorgeous angel! Inkadinkado does have some beautiful stamps. I do love the silver on black. Black for Christmas cards has really grown on me lately. You've given the ornament two very different looks, and the last with the pretty paper -- love! You're doing good with four Christmas cards this month. Some months you may make more than five and that will make up. I'm hoping to do the same.

Oh my goodness....Christmas cards in January. Come Christmas in 333 days time you will be all done for card making. =) All cards are beautiful, but the silver angel on that black background is stunning!

I'm so with you in making cards early this year. I have an idea for the letter A which I will work on this Monday as I'm off that day. Whoop Whoop.

Love the black and silver. It really works. Lovely images and scallop along the sides.

Very classy ornament cards.

The Christmas tree is so awesome. I am really in love with this card by the way you have DP on the left and a stamp on the right. Very artistic!

Have a warm weekend.
