I mixed up the coloring a little bit since I was doing multiples of this one. I changed up the colors of the lantern, trying to make some look like wood and others to look like steel. Also the colors of the candles and the different items I used for snow. I tried faux snow first and it was a bit too chunky for such a small area of snow I thought. Then I tried glitter and then stickles which is like glitter glue and that seemed to be what I liked the most in the end.
Sharing some close ups so you can see the differences in them.
Northwoods Rubberstamps - Cardinal Snowy fence & lantern stamp set, Colored w/markers
Diamond Stickles
Faux snow
Elizabeth Craft designs - Cool Diamond glitter
July is my lowest birthday month of them all so this is the month I really need to work on getting Christmas cards done and it just happens to be the hottest month of the year, just feels crazy!
Hope you all are having a good week so far, we had some big rains come through last night with Tornado warnings but we did ok here and it left us with some cooler weather, In the 80's today instead of 90's, need to enjoy it, this weekend the heat index is to reach into the 100's.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
Connie

Lovely.
We're on the same wave length today - both sharing Christmas cards! Love these pretty lantern scenes with all your variations. I especially like the sparkly snow!
Connie, what a gorgeous stamp & cards. My favorite is the red candle one. I love the snowy addition. (too bad it is 90+ degrees outside!)
Very nice cards, full of gorgeous Christmas cheer and colours and love the images, great projects. ♥
How pretty, Connie! So bright and cheerful - I love that sparkle atop the lantern! xx

OH! These are fabulous! Great coloring/design! You're going to have your holiday cards ready way ahead of time! Good for you!
This is a gorgeous stamp and really beautiful cards, Connie. Love the CASness of the design. You're very ambitious to make three of them. July was a busy birthday month for me and I scrambled to have enough cards. ps: Sorry it took me so long to get here. I'm trying to catch up. Hugs!
Beautiful stamp and coloured so well. It sounds like your getting ahead with your Christmas cards
Lovely Christmas cards Connie... you are ahead of the game! I love the simple design... the touch of sparkle adds an elegant element to the card. Glad you didn't have any tornadoes! It's pretty warm and humid over here...
Such lovely cards, I do like the Christmassy colours.
All the best Jan
