Sympathy prayers

I am saddened to tell you that there has been 3 more losses to Covid.  A friend from church had 5 people in his family get it and 2 passed away.  His brother passed away first and by the time I could get a card made and write inside it his Dad passed away, 36 hours apart from one another, so heart breaking for his family. His mom, his brothers wife and he niece have seemed to recovered.

My husbands step sister and brother lost their mother to Covid too.  The sad thing is they were eligible for the vaccine and had decided not to get it, this has my husbands step sister so upset.

Since I had a couple of these to make and I like to get them out in the mail quickly, I heard a little voice of Donna Phelan telling me to make the same type of card :)  I used different papers and layout but it helped using the same image to go faster. One I stamped in browns and the other in black ink.

OMG this is so tragic! Your cards are both just beautiful and very soothing (glad to listened to Donna's advice). Prayers going up for this poor family! UGH ... when will it all end?? So glad hubby & I have both of our vaccines ... makes one feel 'a little' safer. Hugs

Connie, these are wonderfully made cards...but so sorry that you had to make them... so sad to hear about your church members and your family.
Jim and I just got our vaccine but my daughter and her family refuse to get it. which concerns us... espcially when I read about things like this.

The cards are beautiful. Sadly, this thing is as potent as ever and anti-vaxxers really need to wake up to the dangers xoxo

A very sad story. This Covid has a grip on so many people. Your cards are perfect. The stamp says it all. A good card to make 10 of for the sad occasion. Sorry for the loss.

Sad news, indeed, Connie. Rich's brother told us yesterday that he has decided not to get the vaccine based on his doctor's opinion on the matter. I think we all know about the variants and how we still need to be somewhat cautious even after fully vaccinated, but to opt for no protection at all seems careless. Just my opinion. I'm sorry about your friends and family. This has touched you a little too closely. Beautiful cards to send thoughtful messages.
