Bee Inspired

I have been wanting to make another card with bees on it, I have seen so many cute cards out there but I kept for getting when I went to make a card, I just love this bee die.

When I saw this challenge over at Double D Challenge Blog, I knew I just had to play along.

They had a mood board to get your inspiration for your card and I picked both of the images on the left side, I liked just using partial honeycomb on my card and I also liked the image with the 3 bees.  Of course what bee doesn't need flowers so I had to add some of those.

  • Sizzix Tim Holtz - Mixed Media die
  • Elizabeth Craft designs - Bees die
  • Spellbinders - Layered Colorful Blooms dies
  • Hot Off the press- Dazzles - 130 tiny words & Phrases sticker
I am also sharing today's post with the NBUS Challenge Blog sharing my never before used Spellbinder flower dies, I love this set and look forward to making more.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today and letting me know you did,

Connie

Lovely card, Connie. I like that you took inspiration from the grouping of 3 bees. The honeycomb arrangement looks great. Thanks for joining the Double D, "Bee Inspired" Challenge.

FABULOUS design Connie! And your bees are so cute! Well of course you need flowers! Every card should have a flower on it somewhere ... especially if it's got a bee theme! LOL Awesome job my friend! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Bee-inspired’ challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
