I have 3 cards to share today I am sorry to say. These were all before Christmas.
First my good friend lost her cat, it was so hard for her to decide to let him go, so I wanted to do a card of thoughts that her little guy is in a better place now. She had an orange cat so this ephemera was perfect.
- Stamperia - Create Happiness Ephemera ( cat and flowers)
- Poppystamps - Stitched Landscapes die
- Wooden bird with some inking
- My Favorite Things - Cloud stencil
Next my nephews wife lost her mother. Her mother had been sick for quite some time.
- Photoplay - Beautiful Junque ephemera (flower image on tag) paper instead of ribbon through tag
- Graphic 45 - Christmas past paper
- Anna Griffin - Advent calendar tag die
- Washi Fabric, inked to tone it down
Lastly a lady from our church lost her son, and he leaves too small children. It was a very sad situation and out of the blue so I went with a more solemn card, by very lightly coloring the image.

I love your cat sympathy card and yes, Stamperia have fabulous ephemeras which come in handy more often than not, and beautiful sympathy card with the flowers and tag, and so sad for someone young who leaves children behind, another gorgeous card..

So much sadness over this last little while in your circle. Three beautiful sympathy cards. I must say I love those papers in your nephew's wife card. They look so pretty together.
Sympathy cards are hard to make and you did a beautiful job making these personal cards.
Beautiful cards, Connie!!!
I know it's had to make those kind of cards but you did so well!
All three of your cards are beautiful. The cat sympathy one, I'm sure, will be cherished by your friend.
Dear Connie, these cards are absolutely gorgeous. Anyone receiving any one of these cards will feel loved and comforted. The cat especially touched my heart, but the last one is also very heartfelt and caring.
Connie, they are all beautiful xoxo
So much sorrow. These are all so beautiful and will be greatly appreciated.
Beautiful cards, Connie, especially the last one very tasteful and love how you matched thoughtfully each card to situation and recipient.
God bless and thank you for popping over to both my blog posts. Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.x
Wonderful group of cards, Connie! Christmas season is always a difficult time to lose someone.
You are so sweet and thoughtful. All of these cards are just lovely and I have no doubt will be comfort to their recipients. :)
i know these may be hard to make, emotionally, but they are so very thoughtful!! great cards for sad occasions!!
These are all beautiful, Connie. I especially like the one with the kitty. So very thoughtful of you.
Oh, my, so much sadness. You've made some beautiful and thoughtful cards here, Connie.
I love the way you personalize your cards for the recipients. Three beautiful cards that I'm sure brought comfort to those who received them.
Your sympathy cards are so thoughtfully crafted, each one tuned to the person and circumstance with such care. The orange kitty card is especially touching, and the soft, understated coloring on the last card feels deeply respectful for such a heartbreaking loss. The mix of textures and ephemera throughout adds warmth to these difficult occasions, and your attention to personal details shines through in every piece.
