Your day

It was time to make a card for my Nephew that is in his last year of school, turning 18, couldn't think of what to do, but then was seeing his senior pictures with him in his football uniform, and I decided to go with the same thing I did on This Card Here.  The boys go to different high schools but both schools colors are red and white.

The paper I used for the background had stripes but I added the dirt marks with a stamp set, we know the boys can get pretty dirty playing football. The numbers are from a die set.  I am glad I ended up going with this card, I even got a message from him saying it was his favorite card I have made him yet :)

My Favorite things - Jersey Die and Distressed Patterns stamp
Taylored Expressions - Whimsy #s die
Crate paper - DIY shop paper
Gina Marie stamps - Birthday words stamp

It sure feels like winter around here. We have been getting into the teens for our lows with a wind chill in single digits, but they are telling us to hold on it will get warmer :)

Hope your week is off to a good start, thanks so much for stopping by,

Connie

How great that you got such good feedback on your card! I like the sports theme.

It is mighty cold here too, but should be close to 40 this afternoon.

I would imagine imagining a card for a 18 year old boy could be a bit tricky, but as always, Connie, you have imagined something fabulous. This is a fun card, perfect for a football playing young man.
