Simple Life

For my birthday gift to myself I went to my Local stamp store and bought some new goodies.  I found this gorgeous paper pack that just said spring to me and I also found this little package of ephemera, aren't they ever cute.

I thought these would work great for the Sisterhood of Crafters Spring challenge.

Another card going out to one of the single ladies in our church.

49 and Market - Coral Mini collection paper
Simple Stories - Simple Vintage, Garden District Bits and Pieces pack

As you have heard we are to stay apart for another month, I think I knew it was coming but I took it a bit hard yesterday, wishing he would have just said another two weeks.  But I do no this is the best thing for us all and we have to constantly be looking toward the positive in all of this and not lingering on the negative.  I wanted to share an update for those of you that may have prayed for my hubby's cousins daughter, after a week in the hospital and on the oxygen she is now off and doing so much better, Praise the Lord.  I know so many have not had the same outcome of their family members and my heart so goes out to them.  May we all do what is right in order that more families don't have to go through this.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today, and hope you find some time to create!

Hugs,
Connie

All those pretty ephemera is such a pretty gift to yourself, Connie. How wonderful your hubby's cousins daughter is on the improve and is doing better. These are impossible times, where families are feeling such sadness all over the world. Yes, these separations are difficult but as you say, if we follow through and heed the advice, then the time will come when everything will begin to improve. Keep well, lovely Connie and take care.

Adorable! I sure miss our stamp store. As for staying apart, if one state runs its course and is free of new positives for a while, then fine, but everyone would have to be careful not to travel to another state where it's still prevalent and then take it back home and spread it around again. It will be hard to say when all is well. We definitely have to be patient. Hugs!

This is really cute! Prayers being answered for your family member ... that's awesome! Yes it's a difficult time for everyone and I fear it will get much worse before it gets better. Taking it one day and a time and just trying to follow the rules and stay healthy! Wishing you & your family good health! HUGS

Such happy news! I am willing to hunker down for a month (it will be longer before all is said and done I'm afraid) I miss my family and friends terribly, BUT it is for everyone's health and well being, that I do know! Thank goodness for the internet, FaceTime and Portals! Love your card, in these times it makes me feel as it is a simpler time. Be well....hang in there....we can do this!!!
