Crinkle Christmas

 We did a few projects in our zoom meeting that I had with my stamp group just before we went on our trip, and I am finally getting around to making them into cards.

She had us stamp on a piece of cardstock using waterproof ink. Then she had us mist both sides of the card stock and then crunch up the paper, open it up and then crunch up the other way open up.  Then we were to take watercolors or sprays that we had and spray the stamp image. I used some sparkle sprays that I had that I haven't used in some time, thank goodness they still worked. Then we set them aside to dry, I fussy cut them out after I came home from the trip and boy do they have some great dimension.

I used the left over pieces to die cut some smaller snowflakes and stamped my sentiment.

I used a Christmas tree stamp on the second card.  The paper I used behind it is from a Thank you note I received, I loved the gold dotted background.  I thought the tree Christmas paper went nicely with the gold spray I used on this one.

You can really see the dimension that crinkling the cardstock gives to these on the side view.

With just our things we worked on in our zoom meeting I should get caught up in my Christmas cards this month so that makes me feel good :)
