Joy

The challenge for Christmas in my card making group is to have Joy on your card.

This first one is a sticker. The joy is gold foil and I like how they added detail too it, I tried to mimic that in the corners.

  • Recollections - Joy sticker
  • Paper Studio - Cozy Christmas paper
  • Tim Holtz - Funky Festive dies
  • Sequins
This next one I used a Tissue box image, I found some papers that went well with the colors on the box and added a joy die cut.

  • Tissue box image
  • Graphic 45 - Christmas past papers
  • Taylored Expressions - Joy die
This last one is Joyful but I am using it because it has Joy in it :)

  • 49 and Market - Vintage Artistry Peace & Joy 12x12 paper pack & die cuts
  • Mark Richards - Nailhead gems
I have 3 cards done for this month, at least two more to go, my other group has a pink challenge so they will be done in Pink :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

Three beautiful Christmas cards! What an awesome sticker on the first, and the second card blows me away that it's from a tissue box. I'm sure you know I love it with the bird. And then the last has that gorgeous 49 and Market paper, sigh... You're doing great getting your cards ready for mailing time!

All three cards are joyful, Connie and they'll bring joy to each of the recipients. I recognize the first JOY die cut, as I have the same set. So many wonderful designs to choose from. The second card is delightful and such a great way to recycle. I've never found pretty tissue boxes like that in my stores. Last but not least, not to overlook the last card which is simply gorgeous! You'll be all set when it's time to send out your Christmas greetings. All beautifully done!!

....and in your heart! ;) I agree these are all very joyful and festive! Love the Designer Papers you used on each! The JOY just adds to everything! My most favorite word ever and that's why Lori used it for Penny's middle name! These are fantastic! You must have quite the collection and assortment of Christmas cards now--I know I will be envious when I realize I only have 2 or 3 lol Merry Merry!

Nicely done creating 3 Christmas cards and each one of them containing Joy. I love the addition of the dimensional poinsettia on the first card. The bird on the second card reminds me of the new spellbinders die cut folk bird. I really love it and have it on my wishlist. -like I need more crafty supplies. LOL! Super gorgeous paper on that third card too.
