Bird Wishes

 I was going for a masculine card here, but I think it could be for either male or female card. I used scraps to make up the bird. It has been a long time since I had used these stick frames and I thought a bird would be nice with them.

Wow what a difference a day can make, yesterday we got up into the 80's, all the doors and windows open and today we are at 27, we had very strong winds all night long the house has done so much creaking that our one cat has hid he is so scared. By next weekend back in the 70's, this has been a roller coaster winter, I wonder what spring and summer will hold for us....

 I can not even tell you how long I have had this die and this is my first time using it.  I would think I was going to use it and then I thought of something else for the person, well this time I was stumped on what to use for her card so I decided this was the time to use it.

Pattern Paper

 This challenge at Double D Challenge Pattern paper wasn't hard for me, I usually use pattern paper in all my cards, I have so much I need to use it, this time I used a couple different ones and a tag that is full of pattern too :)

Vintage Christmas

 My cardmaking groups Christmas challenge was postage, at first all I could think of is my postage dies and then I remembered a cardmaking magazine I had bought years ago that had faux postage stamps along with other stamps in the collection so I decided to use them for my first two cards.

I tried to line up the the little stamps evenly across this strip of paper at the top of my card, then I stamped this image and greeting that were also in the set and cut the main image out with one of my postage dies. I colored them all with markers, those little tiny bits were hard, maybe that is why I hadn't tried this set yet.

I added some stamps from a paper pack and the sentiment dies are from my Spellbinder advent calendar.  After I had it all glued on I thought should I have said to you from me instead?

 My friend was sweet enough to send me some images and papers when I commented on how my nephew would love these cards, this is what I came up with using them.

We received 4 inches of snow Friday, it never got above freezing yesterday so we still have it but today might reach close to 50 so I think it will melt most of it, I like when you can enjoy the pretty snow for a little while but then the temperatures warm back up :)

 Sharing a masculine card today, most of it is from Hearfelt creations, but the stump and mushrooms are not. When I saw that stump I thought right away about this woodsy collection and how it would be cute with it. The mushrooms is another die from the advent calendar.

Pink Birthday

 Let's bring on spring :)  I saw this Pink Challenge on Colorful Options and just had to play along. I brought out my coloring calendar images again and colored it with markers.

Sending Love

 This is for my daughter, sending her love and flowers made from hearts. I went to my scrap pile and die cut the hearts including one small one for a bud :)  I added half of a flower punch to it. Punched a circle for the center of the big flower out of pattern paper. Stamped the stem.

 This border embossing folder was in the Spellbinders Advent Calendar 2023, I think it makes for a pretty border.  I went with all brighter theme on this one, the paper pad also had this pretty tag image, I added the stamped sentiment and a gem and was done.

Winter Birthday

 I made a winter birthday card today, this stamp set has all the seasons in it and I had yet to do the winter season.  I used white embossing powder for the snowflakes in the tree, very fine glitter for the snow on the ground, and the little snowflakes were leftovers from a die cut that I saved.

Birds nest

 It has been a little while since I have used my coloring calendar images, I colored it with markers, I was going to fussy cut with my blade between the branches but was afraid that it wouldn't hold up well in the mail since I wanted to pop it up off the card with foam dots.
