Hunting

My friend was sweet enough to send me some images and papers when I commented on how my nephew would love these cards, this is what I came up with using them.

  • Papers and images from friend
  • Hero Arts - Birthday Messages

We received 4 inches of snow Friday, it never got above freezing yesterday so we still have it but today might reach close to 50 so I think it will melt most of it, I like when you can enjoy the pretty snow for a little while but then the temperatures warm back up :)

Have a great week ahead,

Connie

What a thoughtful friend to send goodies that you could put together so beautifully! Think about the patience "we" had as children, lying in wait to view a bird or bunny, or watching insects, or imagining what the sky is saying as clouds floated by. I wonder if those activities helped us cultivate how to become more patient, or to wait for things we would like to happen right away? That's what your little boy and his dog remind me of in this scene. Beautiful card, my friend! hugs, de

A boy and his dog is always a wonderful subject for a masculine card. This card is so sweet. Oh dear ... those temperatures sound freezing, though it certainly must be as pretty as a picture with all that snow

What a lovely masculine card. You were lucky to have been given such a beautiful image. I really like that polka dot paper. It reminds me of an animal print, perfect for the hunter.

We haven't had much snow. Left over on my friend's icy driveway caused me trouble as I slipped and fell, hurting my right wrist. I've been icing and splinting for 3 days now.

Take care!

Yep, crafty friends are the best! What an awesome image and your card is fabulous! I'm sure your nephew will/did LOVE this!! We had a few inches of snow over the weekend too but it's pretty much gone now. Although the cold is still here ... been in the teens over night and mid 20s during the day. BUT to be 53 on Wednesday ... my poor daffodils don't know what to think ... they were already 6" high and some had buds on them when this cold snap hit ... so sad! poor little things lol
