I colored this first one with pencils and the second with markers, just to see which I think I like better.
Johanna Basford - coloring calendar image, colored w/pencils
s.e.i. - bright blossoms paper
Spellbinders - Lacey squares and Labels 29 dies
Fiskars - Essential sayings stamp set
Johanna Basford - coloring calendar image, colored w/markers
Wink of stella clear glitter pen
Fiskars - Essential sayings stamp
Scraps of paper
I think I liked the coloring of the both, I heard a tip somewhere I wish I would have written it down that said to use paper under the piece you are coloring that it helps pull the marker through or something like that, anyway I tried that on this one and it seemed to work ok, but like I said this paper is a little thicker than the other daily coloring calendars I have bought so it could be that too.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop in today,
Connie

Wow, these are fabulous images! I love both of them. The first is super cute with the butterfly background paper and the coloring looks great on both!
BEAUTIFUL. Love these kinds of lush florals and coloured beautifully.x
Connie, both of these calendar pages are coloured up beautifully. For the past three years I've been looking for a calendar like this and just never found one, so this year I have a desk day by day from Mary Englebreit.
What a delightful card these make.
The florals are gorgeous, I love how you have colored them! Spring!!!
How happy and lovely!Hugs!
I think they are both lovely, and beautiful colours.
All the best Jan
I really love the style of the drawings on your calendar pages! These are both really great cards!
if we have learned anything form this pandemic it should be, "never wait on anything, you just never know what tomorrow brings"!!!
both of these a really pretty!! and yes, at our age, we have to write everything down!!
I’ve not heard of a colouring calendar before, such a great idea. They are really pretty florals, I love how you used the
die to cut the first one!
