ATC Challenge

The last Challenge in the group was to make an ATC (Artist Trading Card). Our group has an ATC swap every month, but I am not really into that so I don't do that. But I thought I would do this challenge because I could use my own ATC to use on a card.

Here is my Trading Card I made using one of Tim's Pocket cards as my base. I added a few items from his snippets and my own faux cello tape.

For my recent birthday my hubby took me over to the stamp store in Missouri and I picked up a package of music note papers, and I used that for the base of my card.

  • Tim Holtz - Pocket Cards, and Field Notes Snippets
  • Hunkydory - Musical Notes Paper
  • Simon Says Stamps - Tiny Words Birthday sentiment stamp
  • Martha Stewart - Swirling lace border punch
  • Prima Flowers
  • Gems
  • My Faux cello tape using alcohol inks

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

Great cards. I especially LOVE the top one. It's got such a vintage look to it. And the easel it's on is adorable!! Nice way to display your card.

You're so smart to get into the challenge and then to add it to one of your lovely home crafted cards. I was going through a box of cards today, ones that people had given me and I found a couple from you. They touched my heart for a second time. I saved the cards that people send me and love to read the notes inside, even years later. There's something so wonderful about snail mail that texting and email will never take the place of. 🥰 Not only are you smart and talented but you have a warm and tender heart. Have a lovely rest of your week. ♥️

If I was into trading ATCs I would be delighted to receive this one from you! Your musical notes paper is pretty and I'm thinking how fitting it would be with birds, because you know I've always got birds on my brain. Just call me bird brain!

Such a charming ATC, with the music notes setting a warm, nostalgic tone right from the start. The mix of Tim’s pocket card, snippets, and your faux cello tape gives it that perfectly collected, well‑loved feel. The lace border softens everything beautifully, and the little cluster of flowers adds just the right touch of dimension. Using the ATC as a focal piece on a full card works so well here, turning it into a lovely keepsake.
