My Cardmaking group has a sketch for this month, and it is a circle with a sentiment strip at the bottom. this is what I came up with for the next birthday card I needed.
- Melissa Frances - Wreath die
- The Greetery - Robin and Wren stamp and dies
- Diamond Press - Sentiment stamp from advent calendar
- Spellbinders - Labels Trio die
- Scrap paper
These bird stamps are layered, you stamp multiple times with different stamps lining them up to get the different colors. I also did a bit of inking around the wreath with a little darker color of green.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
Connie

Such a pretty wreath and then with the dimension of the birds and your sentiment - it's a beautiful composition. :)

Beautiful card! Such a pretty wreath and I love the birds of course.
So sweet! I wish you a lovely weekend!
Pretty spring card. Very interesting, and clever, to stamp behind your wreath. It really makes your wreath full and nicely dimensional. Your birds are a beautiful touch.
Sweet card, love that little wreath! The stamped birds are marvelous, they look amazing!
The layered stamping on the birds gives them such a lifelike presence and pairing them with the soft inking around the wreath creates a really gentle transition into the background. The circle sketch works so well here, letting the wreath feel full without overwhelming the design. The sentiment strip tucks in neatly and keeps the whole layout balanced.
What a sweet sketch it is with that lovely wreath and the birds! I always tend to associate birds with wreaths. Actually, I associate birds with just about everything because I love bird stamps and dies. That's the prettiest paper you used in the background, too!
You make some very cool stuff.
