Easter Blessings

I used the same stamp set in both of these cards.

  • ODBD - The Shepherd stamp set, colored w/markers
  • PPD - Distressed Edge Rectangle die, inked
This next one I was trying to think how I could use it differently and I went with first stamping the lamb and then stamping the cane around it to frame it, don't think I did the greatest job lining it up, but thought it worked ok.

  • ODBD - The Shepherd stamp set, colored w/markers
  • Spellbinders - Marvelous Squares die
  • We R memory keepers - For the record paper
I would like to share my card with Simon Says stamps Wednesday Challenge Anything goes

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

You rarely see a sheep on an Easter card, even though it's a typical symbol for Easter. Beautiful cards.

The lamb stamp is precious and both cards are beautifully done, Connie! I think it's very clever how you did the frame on the second card. Happy upcoming Easter!

Amazing cards. I love the top layers, especially on the top card. I've never seen one like that before. It's so unique!

I love the torn edges on that cool background die. What a sweet card.

The soft coloring on these images feels so peaceful, and the way you paired each one with a different die frame gives them such distinct personalities. The distressed edges on the first design add a lovely rustic touch, while the cane‑stamped frame on the second card is such a clever way to echo the shepherd theme. Both layouts highlight the lamb beautifully and capture the gentle spirit of Easter.

Oh I love both of these. That lamb image is so sweet, and I love how you created two uniquely different cards from the same image.

Two beautiful Easter cards Connie, reflecting that our LORD Jesus is indeed the "Good Shepherd Who giveth His life for His sheep".
That's us! Praise Him and we remember this at Easter time! Happy Easter.
