Hope for Tomorrow

 One of the ladies in my cardmaking group asked us if we could make an encouragement card for her daughter in law that is going through some health troubles right now and has been told she will be in the hospital for another 2 - 3 weeks.

 Brought together a few different elements for my card today, just had fun going through everything and adding it onto this card for my nephew.

Thinking of you

 My friend lost her sister that had been suffering for some time now with Alzheimer's and some other things, and she mentioned that she is so glad that she isn't suffering anymore so for her card I decided to show a bird free, flying and happy.

I used a paper tole kit I had that has many layers for the image.

Carnations

 I hadn't used these flower dies in quite sometime and I challenged myself to use some of my older goodies every once in awhile.  Once again I had a busy background so I added some white ink behind the flowers to soften the background a little bit so that it wouldn't compete so much.  The piece I used to frame them was left over after die cutting on another project and I thought it would make a great frame for the flowers.
