Slide and Lock

I once again forgot to post our zoom card from last month.  It is called Slide and Lock if you want to google to find out how to make one.

We did a technique for our outside panels, we took black card stock and stamped in white ink and then cleaned our stamp and stamped once again in two other color inks, I used Oxides.  I thought it gave a neat stone look to it.

  • Hot off the press - Mystic Garden stamp colored w/markers
  • Hero Arts - All Occasion Messages sentiment stamp
  • Queen & co. - Yellow Sunshine pearls
  • Distress Oxides inks - Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade stamped over white ink using background stamp

I didn't write inside the card yet when I took the pictures.

It was a fun card to make.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

Yes, that is a really super cool look on the background! Very interesting! There are so many neat things we can do with our inks and stamps. I absolutely LOVE the birds! You probably know I have a thing for birds, anyway, and these are just so sweet!

This is a beautiful card, Connie, and just right for the season. Our skies are full of early flocks of migrating birds.

Such a fun card and effective techniques, too. Those oxides give lovely texture. The slide and lock system is great, isn't it?

Super fun fold on this card and great image. It pops on your wonderful BG you created stamping on black card stock. It really pops.
