Go with your heart

I wanted to get out some of my older goodies I hadn't played with in awhile and this is one that I thought would make a lovely card for my friend.  I added some pattern paper to the inside of the butterflies.

  • Memory Box - Kensington Branch die
  • Tim Holtz - Mixed Media die and small talk sentiment
  • Crafters companion - Advent calendar, Paper
  • Queen & Co. - Pave Gem

I would like to share my card with Word Art Wednesday anything goes

We have been busy shopping for a new vehicle and yesterday we spent the day putting together Raised Garden beds and filling them with dirt, lets just say we both can feel it today that we have used some muscle we haven't used in awhile :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

This is so pretty, Connie! I love to see the old stuff come out. You put it together beautifully with the rose paper. I like that idea as a background for the butterflies. I understand about your achy muscles. Different seasons call for different muscles. Lots of bending in the springtime!

Gorgeous card Connie, love the papers and dies and layers, beautiful...I picked up few weeds the other day and only one way to get down there to the ground and one way up, and man oh man, I'm feeling it, gardening is not good for you, crafting is..ha ha ha....

Loving that pretty POP of blue beneath that cool corner die cut! And that butterfly branch is lovely too!

Your friend is going to love this gorgeous card. The turquoise is a nice colour to put behind the opening. Finally, a card that you made for yourself--LOL

i laugh when you say "played with" that you never look at making these beautiful cards as work!! i have 2 raised beds and i really love them, but they are definitely a bit of work!! good luck with those gardens!!!

Your card for your friend is truly lovely! The combination of the Kensington Branch die and the patterned paper inside the butterflies creates a beautiful and elegant design. It sounds like you've had quite a busy time shopping for a new vehicle and assembling raised garden beds – hope you both get some well-deserved rest!
