Bird w/jar

For this bird challenge I decided to use one of the Robin layered stamps I have, along with a jar and flowers stamp and die set I have recently bought. I know the ribbon die turned out quite dark in the picture but it matched the red in the paper.

  • The Greetery - Shiplap builder die and Robin and Wren stamp and die set
  • Tim Holtz - Flowers Jar stamp and die set, colored w/markers
  • Crate paper - Party day paper
  • Impression Obsession - Tied line die
  • Stamps of Life - Minis4circles stamp sentiment
  • Martha Stewart - Circle punch w/inking around the edges

I would like to share my card in the following challenges:

NBUS Challenge never before used stuff - Jar and flower stamps and dies

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today and hope you have a nice weekend!

How pretty this is, Connie! It has such a comfortable, homey look to it with the background you created. I love the combo of bird and jar of flowers. The die sure does cut those flowers closely!

Do you not love that ship lap builder die set? I do! My sister in law bought a new home and it has it everywhere--love it! This is a beauty! I love jars and containers on cards, especially filled with pretty posies like yours! That bird is a perfect accent to this entire creation! Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Double D, Birds Challenge. Donna DT Member.

I love how this turned out! The dimensional feel is awesome. I used to have a jar stamp like that too - not sure if I still do? Hmmm 🤔 You get my creative juices thinking. I love the Spring feel too. xo

Love, Love, Love. The bead board is a delight--I love bead board. That water in the jar looks terrific and so do your wild flowers. Nice work, Connie!

Very lovely layered Robin. The ribbon layer is a wonderful addition to bring out more of the pop of red.

Two of my favorite things - birds and flowers! What a pretty card! I just got the Flower Jar stamps and dies for Christmas, but I haven't had a chance to use them yet.

This is so sweet Connie! What a pretty little shelf that bird decided to perch on. These two stamps go together perfectly in scale.
