Dream Big

My cardmaking groups challenge for a Birthday card this month was to use recycled items. I save a lot of Tissue boxes to the point where I really need to quite I have no more room to store them, so I decided to use a couple of them on today's card. The Flowers and the panel behind are from tissue boxes, and as you can see they do cut well with the die cuts.  The leaf behind the flowers is from the backing to an ephemera package of Tim Holtz.

  • The Greetery - Crimped Frame die (using tissue box)
  • Spellbinders - Rose Creation dies (using tissue box)
  • Cheery Lynn Design - Fanciful Flourish die ( using back of ephemera packaging)
  • Crafters Companion - Sentiment die from advent calendar
  • Gems & Brads

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

Beautiful Connie, don't they make beautiful flowers and leaves, I used an art deco style pattern off a tissue box once and it was exciting to use and had great results, gorgeous card here, so elegant..

You certainly have pretty designs on tissue boxes, Connie. The blue flower trailing down the card is gorgeous. Such a pretty card!

You are so creative! I wouldn't have thought to use a tissue box to make a card with - but it looks amazing! Love the crimped edge on the backing piece, so pretty, and the die cut flowers - really a great way to make use of things you already have on hand! May you have a blessed Palm Sunday :)

Amazing what you can do with a tissue box. They're so pretty, and now here is your card, so pretty, too. I love the vining leaf down the side.

Well, aren't you clever. I like to buy kleenex 📦 boxes that speak to me. I never think to die cut the boxes. I'll have to try it out. Your card is so beautiful!!

What a fantastic idea to use recycled tissue boxes for your card! The flowers and panel cut beautifully, adding such lovely texture and dimension. It's impressive how you've repurposed these items creatively, and the result is absolutely stunning!
