Sketch

The challenge in my cardmaking group is to use this sketch where you take 3 different papers all the same size, stack them on top of one another and make 3 cuts into them, then take one from each paper to make a card base.

  • Fancy Pants Designs - Saint Nick paper
  • Paper Studio - La Petites dimensional snowman sticker
  • Library card from friend Esther, already had the tree and Merry Christmas on it

  • Fancy Pants Designs - Saint Nick paper
  • Holiday time - Holiday snowman charm
  • Making Memories - Holly berries
  • Stampendous - Chainletter Merry Christmas sticker

  • Fancy Pants Designs papers
  • Making Memories - Sleigh charm
  • StarForm - Merry Christmas sticker
  • Polka dots unknown
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

Your cards based on the stacking and cutting to create more than one card works so well with the papers you selected. The choice of embellishing for each is perfect to add more interest to the different papers. Well done.

It's a three-fer lol Great cards! Love the backgrounds and the Designer Papers you chose to do this technique! I watched a video the other day on this and I think the Gal did 5 or 6 pieces, very cool and she referred to it as the Stack and Whack technique lol

I love the patchwork look of the background in these cards. Some more gorgeous cards for the festive season.

What a fun technique -- I did that last year with some sewing themed cards. Love seeing the little library card from my freebies too!
