It was my turn this week in our stamp group to host the challenge and I saw this technique on Pinterest and thought it gave a very interesting look to the background. The first ones I made didn't turn out as well so this was try #2.
If you want to give this a try you can find the details HERE .
When I tore off the plastic wrap to this one I thought oh wow that would make a neat night time scene.
I am also using this card for the Memory Box Challenge which is Happy Holidays.
- Background - H2O's - Blue Flame, Majestic Blue and Sunburst, then sprayed w/ Pearl Glimmer mist
- Memory Box - Grand Forest Archway, Small Forest Archway and Valley Deer Trio dies
- Marvy - Snow marker for trees
- Flower soft - Polar white for ground
You can really see the glimmer that the backgrounds have in them, it is neat to move the card back and forth and get such pretty shimmer.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today and say Hi,
Connie

OH WOW ... what a cool technique (I'll have to give that a try)! Love your card ... you're right ... fabulous night time background! Thanks for inspiration my friend! Happy Day to you!
My word! This card rocks my world! Lovely results with this technique, especially how you developed a night time scene so well. The addition of the dies and snow are perfect! Very creative Connie.
That background technique looks awesome and it pairs so nicely with the tree die. WOW!

Beautiful cards. I have never tried this technique, but I really like the effects.
Another fabulous technique, Connie. Love the sweet deer 'prancing' in front of that fabulous background and trees.
What a great technique and a lovely card.
All the best Jan
Connie, you are amazing! Not only because of the beautiful card, but the way you challenge yourself with new techniques. Well done.

Wow, these are some very cool plastic wrap backgrounds! Love your nighttime forest card. Too bad about the rip on the other, but you could call it shabby, ha! Your backgrounds almost look like frost on a window pane. Fabulous!
You come up with the most amazing ideas for your card group. I really like this one, even though I’ve not heard of the technique before. A great card.
Amazing background colors and what a wonderful forest scene.
