Busting out

Hey everyone I just wanted to let you know that I have caught covid, it has really knocked me out, feeling a little better today in my lungs so I think I may be on the up swing of this, just very exhausted yet, so I am hoping later today I will be able to come an visit your blogs.

I had a card already to go for another challenge for my group.

I just went with a picture I saw so I really can't give any dimensions for you. I stamped my image and then found a die that was close to the size, I marker the corners around that die and then took my metal ruler and an x-acto knife and cut from one corner to the other in an X and then pilled that back and attached with a brad.  I did add a little foam tape underneath to keep it lifted.

  • ODBD - Morning glory stamp, colored w/markers
  • Graphic 45 - Botanical tea papers
  • Recollection brads

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by,
Connie

I'm sorry you are not feeling well due to Covid, Connie. I hope you recover quickly. As for your card, it is a pretty one. I love how it folds back and reveals the pretty picture of the morning glories. Such a cool technique. Take care, dear Connie

OMGoodness! I am so sorry! I am the only one in the family who hasn't gotten it, I still wear a mask in public settings. Hoping you have a mild case and bounce back quickly. Love your bursting out card, so clever!

How beautiful your card is! I love the pulled back corners and it's funny how I've been thinking about that lately. Something must have reminded me. Love the stamp you used. I'm so sorry to hear you've got COVID! I hear of it quite often among blogging friends who've caught it. I'm glad you're on the upswing. Rich still wears a KN95 mask in most public places because of his COPD. False security maybe, but it makes him feel better. Wishing for you a quick and full recovery. Hugs!

I'm glad you are beginning to feel a little better, Connie! LOVING how prettily your blue morning glories have been colored. Connie, I have not made a card like this for a long time because of the cost of sending it thru the mail. Do you usually hand-deliver cards like this? It sure is pretty!
hugs,
de
