Stamp & Watercolor

The challenge this past week in my stamp group was to Stamp a card using Distress inks and then using a paint brush to color it in.  On my first card I am afraid that my brush had to much water in it, but I thought it still turned out ok so I went with it.

I had a need for two sympathy cards this week so I used this challenge for them.

Penny Black - Effulgent stamp w/ Candied apple, festive berries Distress inks and Brushed Corduroy distress marker and Tombow 992 marker for stem
Hero Arts - Everyday sayings stamp
Watercolor paper

I think you can see more of the details in this one because the stamp set was not totally solid.

Hero Arts - Real Flowers stamp, w/Milled Lavender, shadded lilac, Brushed corduroy and forest moss Distress inks
Hero Arts - Everyday sayings sentiment stamp
Watercolor paper

We are having lower than normal temperatures right now, todays high in the low 70's, after feels like temps of the 100's this is amazing, such a difference.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today and say Hi,

Connie

Very nice work, Connie. They are both lovely, but the bright and bold red one really captures my attention. Your card will be cherished by the recipient.

It is sad when we need to send sympathy cards, but it is a nice way to let others know we are thinking about them.

I liked your designs here.

All the best Jan
