Turquoise flower

Our last challenge in the group was to make a card with at least one stamp and one die. The flowers and leaves stamp have dies with them, plus I went with a diecut behind to put them on.

The reason I went with Turquoise as my color is because the Flower Challenge Blog is having a challenge right now to use Turquoise as your main color of your flower card.

I used Gray ink to stamp the leaves since that was allowed and the other berries were stamped with the closet I have to Turquoise ink.

  • Wendy Vecchi, Make Art - Bravo stamp set colored w/markers and A Million Thanks stamp set for the leaves
  • Spellbinders - Big Scallop lg. die
  • Liquid pearls - Mint green
  • Fiskars - Corner rounder punch

You have until the 25th to play along in the challenge.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today and say Hi,

Connie

Your turquoise flower is so pretty with the paper you used. You know my addiction to patterned paper. I love how you nestled you pretty posie on the scalloped circle, too. I recently cleared out some of my oldest, never used dies, but these big scallop dies are still with me.

The turquoise flower with the grey leaves look perfect together, Connie. Turquoise is such a happy colour. The background paper really makes the pretty flower stand out. Another lovely card!

I really love the coloring on that flower on the 3rd card. It really is eye catching. Great sentiment on the 2nd card and on that naughty kitty on the first card is super fun.
